Shannon Hennigar has been practicing acupuncture for over 18 years and is a Licensed Acupuncturist by the California State Board since 2005. She also is credentialled for the National Board (NCCAOM), for out of state licensure. She received her Bachelor of Science in Holistic Medicine and Master of Science in Chinese Medicine from South Baylo University. Shannon has experience treating a wide variety of patients in multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
From Working alongside western medicine healthcare professionals such as Physical Therapists and Chiropractors to eastern medical masters of Qigong, Herbology and Reflexology has graced her with a wealth of experience and knowledge to draw from.
Shannon utilizes the natural healing modalities of acupuncture, cupping and herbal therapy to bring her patients back to a balanced healthy state. She enjoys helping people discover their own body’s innate healing capacity. Other adjunct therapies that Shannon uses in her treatments include micro needling, aroma-point therapy, Acu-tonics sound therapy, red light therapy, moxibustion and micro current. She also advises patients with self-care suggestions by incorporating essential oils, vitamin/herbal prescriptions and healing foods dietary advice. Her specialties include pain management and myofascial release, women’s health and facial rejuvenation. She believes by using the principles of eastern medicine, it is possible to achieve your highest mind-body-spirit health mastery goals
